Tommie Wagner, 93, of 612 East 11th St Rushville died on Thursday Jan. 7, 1999 at Millers Merry Manor in Rushville. Born June 27, 1905 in Switzerland County, he was the son of William and Angie McCreary. He married Gertrude Hutchinson on June 1, 1928 and she preceeded him in death on December 30, 1990. Mr Wagner lived most of his life in the Arlington community. He retired from the original Tractor Cab Company after several years. Survivors include three sons: Del Monte of Arlington, James Wagner of Rushville and Calvin Wagner of Syracuse, Ind; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive. He was preceeded in death by three sons; Bobby, Cecil and Theodore, five brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2pm at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville, with the Rev. Doug Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington East Hill cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8pm Sunday at Moster & Cox.
