My great grandparents came from Germany in 1867. There point of entry was Baltimore. They came to Illinois and settled in Hollowayville. For some reason, Andrew wouldn't allow his picture to be taken. They were not married when they arrived but already had a daughter,Christine. Catherine was born in Klingsmoos, Bavaria. Her father was Faller Schmidt. If anyone knows where in Bavaria Andrew was born and who his parents were, I'd greatly appreciate the information.
