Cheryl: According to my research Hugh Franklin was born at Marthaville, Natchitoches Par. His father was Bartlett Franklin Wagley who was born and died at Marthaville. My records also show he married in Natchitoches Par. La. He and his family appear on the 1900 census of Natchitoches Par. Sometime therafter he moved to Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto Co. Tx. He was a Doctor there and also owned a new car dealership. He was born 2-16-1865 and died 12-12-1933 in Mineral Wells. His wife, Emma Serena Brasher was born 2-6-1876, she died in Mineral Wells 6-22-1933. They had eight children. If you do not have the vital statisitcs on these children e-mail us and we will send them to you. Hugh, his wife and a nmber of their children are buried at Elmwood Cem. in Mineral Wells.
