From what I find that the name "WAGLE" is also spelled by some of the family as "WEAGLE" Sounds like your Weagle/Wagle line runs into Jacob Weagle. I have a Jeptha Fox that married Talitha Wagle in 1811 Indiana. She is the daughter of John Wagle and Elizabeth Cooper of Jasper County, Illinois. John and Elizabeth married in 1805 in Jasper Co., Illinois. Johns father is Jacob Wagle and his wife I believe is Mary Meyers they were of Kentucky and North Carolina and married about 1780. Does any of this appear to be what you are looking for? I can't help on the Carter's sorry. I hope this helps
