It could very well be! This is what information I have gathered (in part with the help of generous people doing look-ups!)

Morgan wagon was the grandfather of my daughter's father's father (sorry, that was a bit convoluted) It seemed to him that Morgan had three brothers that went to the States who were in the lumber business.

Anyway, Morgan had a brother William born around 1861...

Do you have any more information about William that could link him to the family? I must admit, the name Morgan was an advantage as it's a less common than William!

On free BMD I found a possible Maidstone marriage for a William Wagon of that era, to one of the two women listed:
