Isaac Waggoner family in Illinois

I just want to clarify that although many genealogists show that Isaac Waggoner (1761-1838) died in Moultrie County, this county did not exist when Isaac died. According to the Handybook for Genealogists, Moultrie County was formed from Shelby County and Macon County in 1843.

Moreover, according to contemporaneous records, Isaac lived in what was then Shelby County. "Isaac Wagner" lived in Precinct 4, Shelby, Illinois, in 1830, and the 1836 Revolutionary War pension application of "Isaac Waggoner" stated that he was a resident of Shelby County.
