Hello all,
I'm researching my Presler/Waggoner line. My GGGGrandfather, Jacob Presler, married Christena Waggoner in 1841 in Huntington County, Indiana (spelled Christena in their marriage record). I've been actively looking for Christena (alternatively spelled Christine in her obit) prior to her marriage. I have suspected for a long while that John Waggoner (b. between 1798 and 1800 in PA - according to census records) is her father.
I have done some research on a couple of ladies that I suspect are her sisters... notably one Elizabeth Wagoner who married James A. Sprowl. According to one webpage I found, Elizabeth Wagoner, who married James A. Sprowl had a daughter named Christine - although I cannot find this Christine on the 1860 or 1870 census record for this family.
I do find it interesting that Elizabeth and James also had a daughter named Armina (the name of John's wife on the Huntington Co, District 52 census for 1850). Another interesting bit is that she also had two other sons names Joseph and Francis M. Sprowl... Christena also had sons named Joseph and Francis M. Presler. Christena also had a daughter named Eliza.
I have seen elsewhere in this forum where a Steven Collins has stated that John Waggoner/Wagoner had 10 children. Mr. Collins hasn't posted in a while (he may no longer visit this site), so I am going to put this out to the general forum at large and see if anyone has the list of those 10 children.
Here is a list of possible children for John that I have compiled by looking at the 1850 and 1860 census records of Huntington County, IN. I am hoping that someone can corroborate this list or tell me I am flat wrong... lol.

Elizabeth b. abt 1820 PA
Christine b. abt 1823 PA
Mary/Polly b. abt 1824 PA
John b. abt 1826 PA
William b. abt 1833 PA
Margaret b. abt 1836 PA
Francis b. abt 1837 OH

Lavina/Lurina b. abt 1841 IN
