Mrs. Grace R. Evans, descendant of Edward James Wagner, above, wrote "Philip Wagner and his Descendants (Manuscript)", 1941,

Note by Grace R. Evans regarding John Wagner above:
[He moved to Ohio and lived at Pleasantville, (Fairfiled Co.), He had a number of children. Two of them, Lettie and Will, visited us when I was a child, and we lived in Frederick, MD. Will lived in Chicago at that time, and Lettie went there later to live. A married daughter visited the relatives in Pikesville about that time but I don't remember her name. I do not know that Lettie and Will were ever married.]

Note by Grace R. Evans regarding Thomas Wagner above:
He went to New Orleans, LA, to live. Whether he remained there all his life, I do not know.

[Extra Note by Grace R. Evans:
I have a friend, Mrs. Allen C. Roudebush, 2224 Williams Ave., Norwood, OH, (now within Cincinnati, Hamilton, OH, whp) whose maiden name was Wagoner, and who may be a descendant of this Thomas Wagner, who went to New Orleans, and who later may have gone to Ohio as his brother lived there. Mrs. Roudebush's great grandfather was Thomas Waggoner and she says he was a cabinet maker of great skill and that John Wagner of Pleasantville, Ohio, was her grandfather's cousin. Her family spells their name Waggoner. She says that many of her father's older relatives had the same first name as those of my grandfather's family. but we regret that we cannot find the connecting link, as we both think that we are related, and hope that some day someone will be able to trace the relationshiip.]
