Charles and Elizabeth of Indiana and Illinois ?

I am searching for information on a Charles Waggoner that married an Elizabeth Hummelsheim in Tippecanoe County, Indiana in April 1868. I cannot find any definitive record of the couple after the marriage record.

I did find an 1880 census record of Charles (b. ~1838) and Elizabeth (b. ~1846) Waggoner in Macoupin County, Illinois whose birth date would fit, but her birthplace is listed as Nassau. I don't know whether this is Nassau in the Bahamas, Nassau in New York, or a mistake. Has anyone come across records for this couple?
