Wages Family Genealogy Forum

Teresa,
Many times I have felt as you do. . . . searching and more searching and more brick walls. The fun of genealogy is that the more we find, the more we want to find. When I first started researching the Wages, I thought, this is such an unusual name it will be easy to research. Wow! Was I wrong. I never dreamed there were so many Wages in so many places. This is my husband's family but I am the researcher. Which Wages are you researching? Where were they from? Did they migrate out of SC like most of them did, going to MS, TN, Arkansas, Texas, Georgia and Kentucky. Or did they, like my line, stay in SC. Who was your grandfather, great-grandfather? I will be happy to see if any of your family is in my notes. I also purchased the Wages book that was done in 2006 and will be happy to see if there is anything in it for you.
Happy Searching,
Anita Wages
