Maude Wagers b 1874 d/o Livingston L w/o Frank M Smith
I am searching for any information on the family of Frank M. Smith and Maude Wagers. Frank and Maude were married 12 October 1894. Maude was born 22 February 1974 in Dakota Territory. She died 13 August 1913 Fort Calhoun, Nebraska.
Frank and Maude had one son ... Willard Lloyd (Harry) Smith who married Elizabeth Pearl Lytle. Their's was a true love story to be envied. Toward the end of Lloyd and Pearl's lives, their health had declined to the extent that Pearl was placed in a nursing home. Lloyd's health was not much better than that of his wife, but he continued to live, alone now, in the home that he and Pearl had once shared. Because of Lloyd's love for his wife and life-long partner, Lloyd got in his car and drove to visit Pearl frequently. This accounted for quite a many dents in his car.
Pearl passed on in 1975 -- taking with her Lloyd's reason to live. Lloyd lived with his son in New Mexico for a while, but he quickly learn that he needed to return to Independence, Missouri so he could be closer to Pearl. Within six months of Pearl's death, Lloyd joined her.
Lloyd and Pearl had one son ... Bobbie Russell (Bob or Bobby) Smith. Bob was the only son of an only son ... Anyhow, Bob married Marian Ruth Beal ... they had four children: Russell Lloyd, Frank Floyd, Laura Elizabeth, and Lita Eileen. I married Russ. We had three children and are grandparents of two boys and three girls.
I am trying to piece together our family history for my grandbabies. My brick wall is Frank M. Smith. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!
Any information would be more than appreciated! Please email me at [email protected] if you have any information you can share! Thanks, Linda
