I have a Jessica E. Wager who married Chester Kirkland s/o William and Agnes Kirkland of Scotland and then Canada and on into the US. Perhaps these two families knew of each other from back in Scotland? Chester and Jessica E. Wager Kirkland are buried in the Fairview Cem. in Alexandria Twp. Jefferson Co., NY. Jessica Wager Kirkland's dates according to online cemetery records 1856-1917. William and Agnes Kirkland were also the parents of my GGfather John Kirkland. Just passing on the info.
