The October/November 2006 issue of ANTIQUES & FINE ART magazine on p. 21 pictures a small portrait of Henry W. Van Wagenen "at the age of 9 months 5th Feb. 1853." The ad that shows the portrait does not say what state Henry was born in. This fine portrait should be known to the Wagenen family, which I'm assuming is a variant of the Wagener family. I am scanning it in case any of the Wagenen or Wagener descendants might like a copy, either by email or by postal mail. Someone in the Wagenen family ought to have it--it is too good to be missed by the family. It may not have extensive genealogy value, but it certainly does have a whole lot of family and historic value. My email address can be found by clicking on my underlined name above. Please respond by EMAILING ME DIRECTLY and NOT by posting a reply on this genforum site, which I might not see. If it were a portrait of a Pease family member, I'd certainly want someone to do the same for me. Bill Pease, Lancaster, PA Notify Administrator about this message?
