Gregory, I do not have a direct connection with your Andrew, but believe he was the son of Adam Wagenmann and Catherine Isley. If so, his birth record is found at Friedens Lutheran, see below. Can you confirm that your Andrew was born Jan 23, 1802 in NC?
After Adam's death, Catherine married Jacob Cline/Kline, who was subsequently appointed Andrew's (aka Adam) guardian (see court record below).
Catherine was the dau. of Balthazar Isley, my line.

Adam Wagenman and his wife Chatarina - a son born 23rd Jan 1802 - Bapt 28th March 1802 - and called Andreas* - his sponsors were Andreas Wagenman and Christina Goring
* Guardian Papers filed in Guilford NC (see below) give his name as Adam Waggoner -- same birthday/year. Jacob Cline (stepfather) was appointed guardian. Name was probably Adam Andreas/Andrew or Andreas/Andrew Adam?

Feb 1805 Session: On petition of Andrew Wagaman, court ordered a jury to divide 246 acres of his brother Adam, they holding the land jointly (page 324, 332, 350) (This is Andrew who m. Sindi, and Adam who m. Catherine Isley)
May 1808 Session: Jacob Cline appt gdn to Adam Waggoner (This is Andreas Wagenman who was b. 23 Jan 1802 - Friedens records), age 6 on 23 Jan last [page 430 (2d) , 430, 436]
