I suppose you have the entry for Rev. Benjamin Wadsworth in Sibley's "Harvard Graduates.". He married Ruth Boardman and his sister Abigail married Andrew Boardman. Benjamin had no children. His dates were 1669-1737.
Benjamin's brother Joseph was Treasurer of the Town of Boston for many years. I saw no indication that he was a judge, though perhaps he was for a short time. Reading the city reports, he is always called "Treasurer." In 1746, he was paid 250 pounds and was given a 100 pound bonus for good service. His dates were 1667 to 1736/7. I found no record for him in Sibley's, so apparently he did not attend Harvard like his brother. His wife was Hannah? and they had Hannah and Abigail, and two sons named Joseph, one dying in infancy.
The father of of Joseph and Benjamin was Samuel Wadsworth. His wife was Abigail Lindell. As you know, Samuel died in 1676, King Phillip's War. His wife died in 1687.
The father of Samuel was Christopher Wadsworth of Duxbury. The Duxbury vital records covering the period were burned, so there is no real record. However, his wife was named Grace. Christopher died before Samuel, but Grace died after 1676. She mentioned her deceased son Samuel in her will.
Most of the above is from the Wadsworth Genealogy published about 100 years ago. I can send you copies of pages if you wish.
