Death of SAMUEL WADSWORTH in CA in 1862

SUDDEN DEATH -- A few days ago Samuel WADSWORTH, a son of James WADSWORTH, who is engineer at Sperry & Co.’s mill, run a thorn through the joint of one of his toes. He went around through the water with it, experiencing no pain until Tuesday, when he remained at home and went to bed only slightly complaining, and was dead from an attack of tetanus before night.
