My grandmother (Wadley) said claimed to be part American Indian. She said her little grandma Ramsey was 100%, and lived to be about 115. A relative took her outside in the winter and she caught cold and died.
A sister of my grandmother she said proved the Indian connection and lived her final days on a reservation in California. I never knew which one or where it was. I don't think she knew where it was. I think the only time she left the Newport, Arkansas area is when she lived a short time in Elkhart, Indiana.
