Dear Anita,
I do believe that the William WADKINS in Douglas Cty (MO) is my great-grandfather.I am on the verge of a major breakthru in this line, and even though my Grandfather told me that he "never knew what happened to his father after his parents divorce", he fibbed!! He went on to say that he "would not be surprised to find out that he had black half brothers and sisters, cause his Daddy was "handy" with the upstairs maid". I've just began to think that both he and my grandmother were indeed Black Indian.
My e-mail has changed since we wrote each other back in 2000, but you should find it here ok. If I don't hear from you in a week or two I will try to old address I have for you.Jean WATKINS SHERWOOD in AZ.
