Hi,
Trying to find family connections to my great grandmother who was originally from Hereford.
Her name was Marion, (Minnie) Gwatkin, b 24 Oct 1869, Richmond Street, Hereford City, Hereford, England (No father listed)
Minnie was sent to Canada in 1879 to be adopted (unsure as to the reason)
Minnie was adopted by the McArthur family of Branchton
and later married James Burnet b 12 Nov 1868, Branchton Ont. on 4 May 1904, Branchton, Ont
Minnie's mother I believe was an Emma Gwatkin b England bef 1860
Any assistance or information you could offer would be greatly appreciated
