I'm helping a friend find Samuel A. Waddy somewhere other than in the 1850 Shelby Co TN census, in Colliersville. In that census he is a merchant, 43 years old, b in TN, with wife Agnes, age 28, b in KY, and two children born in TN: Sarah, age 11 and Wm, age 1/12. (His middle name is Albert)
His wife Agnes is Agnes Ann Peters,b 1 May 1822 in Simpson Co KY, d 27 Nov 1869, buried in Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co KY. She is the daughter of James Peters and Susan West.
The Sarah in the 1850 census is "Sallie", b 19 Aug 1839, d 21 Dec 1916 in Simpson Co KY, married 1 March 1870 to Wesley C. Rice.
I'm anxious to learn if Albert and Agnes had a daughter, also named Agnes Ann, who married a Mr. Andrews.
Any Waddy information is welcome.
