Malachi C. Waddell, b. 14 July 1835 Meriwether Co., GA to Katie Murphey and Wiley Waddell, d. 15 Feb 1924 in Chamblee, KeKalb Co., GA. He married ca 1860 Christene Carolina Graham, b. 19 Jan 1840 to Malinda Crumley and Moses W. Graham in Gwinnett Co., d. 12 July 19423 in Norcross, Gwinnett Co. Their children were:
W. Thomas Waddell, b. ca 1863
James M. B. Waddell, b. ca 1871
Needam Andrew Waddell, b. 4 Apr 1874, still alive 1920
Jackson Lee Waddell, b. Oct 1876
Anna Waddell, b. ca Apr 1878
Robert Peter Waddell, b May 1883
Etta M. Waddell, b. Apr 1885, m. Thomas E. Pinnell,
still alive in 1920 Gwinnett Co.
I have been researching the Graham family and hope descendants of this couple may know when Malinda Crumley and Moses W. Graham died and where they were buried; they were still alive on the 1880 Gwinnett Co. census. Moses W. Graham appears most certainly to be the son of the Moses Graham in Jackson Co. who was b. ca 1784 NC, d. 1862. Moses W. Graham appears to have been the son of Moses Graham by his first wife, name unknown. Moses Graham m. in 1823 in Jackson Co. Rebecca Ellison, b. ca 1800 GA, still alive in 1880 Gwinnett Co. in the household of her daughter T. (Tabitha) E. Graham Greeson, b. ca 1827, still alive 1880, who had married George W. Greeson, b. 1821, d. of typhoid fever 16 Sept/June 1871, buried at Harmony Grove Methodist Church in Gwinnett Co.
I have done extensive research on the Graham family hoping to find out who the parents of Rebecca Ellison who married Moses Graham (Sr.) were. I hope Graham and Waddell descendants may have some of that information.
