I don't know if this will help you, but there was a large LaBrosse family that lived in the Bonners Ferry, Idaho area. Or maybe it was Pend Orielle or in that vicinity. Anyway, my ex-husband was in the Navy with a Clark LaBrosse from that area. My understanding is that the family was French-Canadian. That's all I know.
