Rebecca,

Based on the number of your postings, you are new to genealogy research on the Internet. If not, I apologize, but let me give you some tips.

When you post an inquiry, the chances of someone knowing the family, or being part of the family are far less than someone like me, a bonifide researcher that helps people locate information will help you.

For the researcher, you need to first limit the desired information to that which would help you. And, then, identify what you already know about the individual person you seek.

In this post, you are asking for three different people and all their lineage. First, even if you are talking about only one of them, you could be asking for a LOT of research. Let's say Daniel Jeffers. First, a researcher would have to identify how many people were named Daniel Jeffers, where and when they lived. MOST records do not list the middle name. Let's say we find one in Whitman County in the 1880 census, and one in the 1910 cenus, which one is the right one? And, do you already have the census information and the spouses and children identified with this person?

So, when you post, be SPECIFIC on ONE person, and that information you do NOT have on the person. For example, Looking for Daniel Kinney Jeffers, born 1865, or Nov 1865, in Missouri, son of John Jeffers. He married X, and had 3 children, X, XX, and XXX. He lived in Whitman County. I have the census information for 1900, 1910, but he disappears. I'm looking for X, and XX, his children.

Here is a link that shows some suggested query information, but it is important to list what you know and don't know....WITHOUT giving his life history. If you also want to know about Joel Newton Jeffers, then give some time after the first posting, as it might include information on him.

Example, it is for Norway searches, but it has the right suggestions:

Please repost and give the researchers what information you have.
