Hi Mimi, since this family is so large I only investigated the people living in WA & I wouldn't be of much help in the other states anyway.

It doesn't appear from the Censuses that Mary Angie had children with Charles Roberts. She appears as widow in the 1920 and 1930 Census with no children. She was 52 in 1930 so I'd so she didn't have children.

I'd check the Washington State Archives web site, www.digitalarchives.wa.gov/default/aspx for any family member that you have questions about. Although everything isn't loaded yet.

Regarding Lena, I don't remember when marriage licenses were required by the State. You could check with the www.raogk.org, Whitman County web site for a volunteer to look for a marriage license for her. They will provide you the license number & you can order it from the State if it doesn't appear in the Digital Archives.

I'd do the same thing for her death info assuming she died in WA.

For the early deaths and marriages, contact Whitmany County, www.whitmancounty.org/Page.aspx?pn=Auditor.

Lucretia and Stephen Shoemaker lived in Garfield, Whitman Co. in 1920 with their son Stephen. A Mary A. Shoemaker, 71, widow, b. MO lived next door to them.

Stephen Bishop Shoemaker b. 8 May 1914, Whitman Co. Father's name=Stephen Shoemaker, mother's name=Lucretia Bishop. Source: WA Birth Index 1907-1919. You showed he was born in ID but I don't think so.

It's doubtful that Lucretia had children other than Stephen & John since she was 47 in 1930, however, she may have. If you want to check further, find a volunteer on www.raogk.org, Whitman County to look in the WA Birth index microfilm. Also the Whatiman County Gen. Soc. www.rootsweb.com/~wawcgs/res.htm, does research for a reasonable fee.

A Paul Bishop, 533-20-3335, b. 4 Aug 1914, d. March 1962. His social sec. # was assigned in WA before 1951. Source: Social Security Death Index (which you can access at no charge).

If you want a copy of his death cert., you'll need to get the death cert # first.

I didn't find anything other than the Census info for Frances Eleanor Bishop. I'd find a volunteer to check the marriage records assuming she was married in Whitman Co.

As of 1920 Inez Bishop Richards didn't have children. You could have a volunteer look under Richards and Freebury.

Fleda Brigham Bishop d. 25 Jan 1946, Whitman Co., b. abt. 1895 per death cert #17. Source: WA Death Index.

I didn't find any additional info for Evelyn M. Bishop or Lois E. & I'd check marriage records.

I didn't find any addl info for Burton L. Bishop but I'd check out the rootsweb, databases, Canada since he lived & died there. Hope this helps. Judy
