Hi Mary Lou, Timothy, his first wife and family were living in 1892 in Duwamish, King Co., WA. Tim, head household, 43 yrs old, b. VT, potter; Margaret, wife, b. Scotland, 36; Maggie, b. IA, 15; Theresa, b. IA 13; Tim, b. IA, 10; John, b. IA, 8 and Willie, b. IA, 5.

Then he was living with his second wife Mary in 1900 in Duwamish. Therefore, I'd say he married Mary about 1897 in King Co. See who to contact for a copy at King County Vital Records, .

In 1920 the family was living in Sumas, Whatcom Co., WA which I'm going to assume you know since you posted on the Whatcom Co. Message Board.

A Timothy Courtney died 28 July 1919, Sumas, Whatcom Co., WA, 69 yrs 7 months 9 days, Estimated Birth Year=1850. Source: WA Death Record Index, .

A Mary Courtney died 23 May 1938, Sumas, 70 yrs 2 months 16 days, Estimated Birth Year=1868, Spouse-Timothy, Father=John Munson, Mother=Johanna Johnson. Source: same as above.

Contact the Washington State Center for Health Statistics, 360-236-4300, . Source: Vital Records for Whatcom County, .

Timothy's birth cert would be located in Vermont. Mary's would be located in Sweden. Successful Searching!
