Ron:
Thanks

I found the information on the Benton B. Thompson who died in 1909. I believe this to be him. It lists his father as Barney, which fits. The parents of the Benton Thompson I am looking for would have been Baranabas A. Thompson and Annie Elizabeth Lawrence. Both died in Larned, Pawnee Co., KS. 1904 and 1895 respectively.

The only information I have on Benton is from the newspaper story detailing his father's death. The article states that they are waiting to arrange the funeral services until the only surviving son "Benton, can arrive from Blaine, WA. Benton had 2 living sisters at that time: Viola (Albert J.) Friend and Dotte (Gilbert) Woodward, both were living in Pawnee Co., KS.
