My Great Grandfather, Antone Martin Nelson (the name was Nikolaisen in Norway)was married to Anna Marie Pedersen. Her parents apparently were swedish with that name.I have only her father's name as Nils-he died in the 1880's in Norway. We don't have a record of her mother's name. They never immigrated to the United States.Unfortunately, most of the records in Namsos,Norway were kept in the church and apparently the Germans had bombed both the cemetery and church during WW2.My Great Grandparents came over separately from Norway.Antone came first and then sent for Anna sometime after 1906 or 1907. In Mount Vernon, they lived in an area called "Baker Heights"???Have you seen anything on these people??Like I said before, they had a timber mill in Mount Vernon around 1910-1911 or so.Thanks.
