Arcadius St Laurent, Josephine St Laurent
Posted by: L St-Laurent (ID *****0601) Date: December 11, 2011 at 09:19:37
  of 14013

I am looking for information on Arcadius St Laurent. He is my grandfather's brother.

He was born in St-Anaclet Québec on 25 Nov 1879.
He married Marie Claire Elizabeth Lavoie (Clara) in St-Anaclet on 6 Feb 1917. They lived in the state of Washington.

According to newspaper clippings on funerals -
at the time of his mother's death, in 1923, and of my grandfather's death in 1937, they were living in Kennewick; at the time of my great uncle Thimoleon's death in 1953, they were still in the state of Washington.

Any information on his death would be appreciated.

-----------
I am also looking for information on Josephine St Laurent, Arcadius's sister.

She was born in St-Anaclet on 15 May 1881.

She married Hormidas Gaucher, a widower, in 1902, in Newmarket, New Hampshire. According to the 1910 Census, they lived in Tapville, Connecticut. But on the 1920 and 1930 census, Josephine is not listed.

However, a border crossing manifest for Port Huron, Michigan, on Jan 9, 1914, lists a Josephine Gaucher, from Tapville, going to visit Arcadius St Laurent in Kennewick, Wash.

The funerals newspaper clippings indicate that she is in California (1937, 1953).

Any information would be appreciated.
--------------
In the late 60's, early 70's, I was living in western Canada, my mother asked me to look for relatives out there... however, I was not successful ... thus still looking.

Lou
