The plot thickens! On 14 Jul 1928, Jenny WHELCHEL married Ernest HICKS in Whatcom Co. WA. The license had no info on the bride or groom, only that they were married by Ed Hardin, Superior Judge, and the witnesses were Emily Jacobson and Inez Hicks.

On 15 Oct 1935, a Bessie WHELCHEL and Carl A. JENSEN were married in Kitsap Co. WA by J. Hass, J.P. There are no ages, birthplaces, parents' names, nothing on the license to identify if this Bessie is Carl's ex-wife. License #8359.

A Burtie ROBINSON d 1 Aug 1946 in Bothell, King, WA at age 79. Her father's name was SMITH and her husband's name was Preston.
