Hi Mary Beth, send an email to askalibrarian@secstate.wa.gov and tell them Charles' name, when and where he died and ask for copy of obituary. They search the newspaper microfilm and if they find one, they'll email it to you for FREE!

Ron gave you some good places to look about Charles burial. Also I'd call the Snohomish Cemetery. Of course, his burial site will probably be on the obituary. You can contact the cemetery about more information on him. If the funeral home is listed in the obit, contact them too. They generally have a list of the family members and other info.

I agree with Ron that Clara didn't die in WA or her name was spelled incorrectly. They closest I could find was a Gladys C. McArthur. Look for her death where her children lived. Good Luck!
