Hi Casey,
I found that a Joanne S. Litus in 1992 was living in Olympia, WA. Source: U. S. Public REcords Index, www.ancestry.com.

A Joanne S. Litus b. 13 Feb 1918, Last Residence=Anderson, Shasta Co., CA 96007 died Nov 1997. Her soc. sec. # was assigned in Illinois before 1951. Source: Social Security Death Index, www.ancestry.com.

You can request a copy of the obituary from the Washington State Library, www.sec.state.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx . Since you don't have an exact death date, they might not be able to help you but it doesn't hurt to inquire.

Generally they will check the newspaper archives and look for up to 60 minutes at no charge. Then they email what they do or don't find to you. Takes about two weeks.

There are a couple of web sites for cemeteries in Lewis County.
USGenWeb Tombstone Project, www.usgwtombstones.org/washington/lewis.htm .
Interment, www.interment.net/us/wa/lewis.htm .
FindAGrave, www.findagrave.com

If you don't find her at those web sites, you can contact the Lewis County Genealogical Society, wa.lcgs@hotmail.com (email address) and ask if they have cemetery info. There will probably be a research fee but they're generally reasonable. Successful Searching!
