I am looking for the family of James Short (born abt 1860 in Virginia) and Florence Jackson Short (born abt. 1869 in Virginia). They moved from Virginia to Lewis county in the very early 1900's. James was my great-grandfathers brother. I would like to find documents (i.e. marriage, birth, death records) for James and his family. James and Florence had the following children before leaving Virginia; Mary, Lillie, Charles, James, Rosa, David and Florence. They may have born more after they left.
I would love to meet some of their descendants.
