Hi Vicki, I'd contact the Lewis County Gen. Soc., www.rootsweb.com/~walcgs/. Take a look at what they have on-line but they probably have lots of info that's not on the Internet. Hopefully they have Polk County Directories for the 1920s, tax records, newspaper clippings.

Also the Secretary of State has newspaper on microfilm and might be able to help. http://www.secstate.wa.gov/library/ask.aspx. They will search their microfilm for an obituary for one hour at no charge. Maybe they'll do the same for what you're looking for. Successful Hunting!
