I found an Edith E. Kinnie in the 1930 Alisal, Monterey Co., CA Census married to Joel L. Kinnie. Edith was b. abt. 1912, WA, married at 17. Joel was b. abt. 1901, Canada English, married at 28, and was a box nailer at vegetable house.

Joel Leslie Kinnee, 558-09-5465, b. 11 Oct 1901, Canada, died 14 Sept 1953, Monterey Co. Mother's maiden name=Maughan and father's surname=Kinnee. Source: CA Death Index 1940-1997. Hope this helps.
