Trying to locate descendants of my g uncle, Archie LADD. d 15 June 1968 in Mt Vernon WA - buried in Centralia, Lewis Co, WA. Archie b. 18 Mar 1886 in Sioux City IA to Affa PALMATEER/POLMOTEER & Peter A LADD. The family returned to Clark Co WI by 1900. By 1909, when Peter and Affa entered the WI Vet's home, Archie had migrated to LaCentre WA.
Archie's obit names widow, Hazel SHOOP Ladd; a daughter Mrs. Albert (Lola) Swanson, Warrenton, Ore; son, Jay (Bud) LADD, Chehalis; stepdaughter Mrs. George (Tina)Maker, Longview; two stepsons, Leo PORTER, Renton; amd Robert HENDRIX, Kent. Plus many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
If any of Archie's descendants are out there...please get in touch. Perhaps we can help one another with research, but more importantly, I would love to have some cousins. Archie's sister, Gladness, died giving birth to my mother, Marie BLAKELY, and relatives on her side are scarce, indeed.
