Edwin b. 11/19/1837 in Ny is my great uncle. He came to Ellensburg in the early 1880s from Hampton, Franklin, IA.
Wife: Evangeline (Eva)Spittler b. 11/18/1854 in IL.
Their children are Charles b. 1873 IL, Lura (Louise) b. 1877 IA, William F. b. Aug 1878 IA, Nellie b. Abt 1880 IA. Nellie married J.B. Draper on May 18, 1898 in Ellensburg. Also in the home was Nellie Spittler b. Abt 1887 Dakota. Evidently they raised her. Her relationship to Eva is unknown. She married Louis Oran Lester on June 19, 1907 in Ellensburg.
Edwin was a farmer and William F married and took over his farm.
Any info on any of these people would be appreciated. Is there someone who could lookup Edwin's obituary? I am willing to pay for this. Edwin was in the 1920 census so he died sometime after that, and I assume he was in Ellensburg when he died.
