Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Alice,
Have you contacted your local library and told them you'd like this book via inter-library loan? They in turn go to the World Catalog (World Cat) and search for the book. Then they ask the holding library to ship it to them and you can view it at your local library.

If that doesn't work out, contact the local genealogy society and ask them if they'll copy pages of the book and mail the copied pages to you. Most will do this for a fee.

Toroda is located in Ferry Co. Contact the Ferry County Historical Museum, www.experiencewa.com/attraction.aspx?id=151 .

Ellensburg is located in Kittitas Co. Contact the Kittitas County Genealogical Society, 509-925-5951.

Centerville is located in Klickitat Co. Contact the Columbia Gorge Genealogical Society, http://community.gorge.net/genealogy/links.html .

Ruby City was located in Okanogan Co. I say was because it doesn't exist any more. Contact the Okanogan County Genealogy Society, Route 1, Box 323, Omak, WA 98841, 509-826-1686. Successful Searching!
