Vettleson...sounds like a good Norwegian name.

A driller put in holes for the rivets when connecting the metal plates.

It doesn't appear they have home page.

The navy still use Bremerton as a port. I don't believe they do any refurbishing there today. San Diego is probably where they would that... But, I am only guessing, I don't know. I am NOT a water person.

I tried to find him in the census to find his address, but more than likely he lived in the local area.
