August 13, 2008 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing this letter to you to ask for your help. I am gathering information and want to learn about the stories of two twin girls born to Elmer and Caroline Heath January 18th, 1944 in Seattle , Washington. About four months ago I learned through DNA Testing I am a twin. At first I felt stunned, then cheated and very sad to have never known my family for who they were, but only by who they pretended to be in relationship to me. I often feel lost and confused by all the secrets. I was given up for adoption at birth. I was adopted by Norbert Hale and his wife Delores (Vallet) Hale. After the death of Delores, I was adopted by Emile and Mary Vallet. My name at that time became Veronica (Ronnie) Marie Vallet. I was never told as a child I was adopted, as was often the case during those years. Although I was given up for adoption at birth I believe I was wanted, loved, and well cared for by my adoptive family. Delores died in an automobile accident when I was about two and a half years old and when I was about five years old Emile and Mary Vallet adopted me. Mary died when I was nine years old. Emile Vallet was left alone to care for and raise a very sad little girl. At thirteen I learned Emile and Mary Vallet were not my mother and father, but my grandparents. I am now 64 and reunited with my twin sister Sharon Estrada. Today I feel whole. However, I need help in putting parts of my life together. I am reaching out to you for your help. The people in my life growing up were good people, with hopes and dreams for themselves and for me. I would like to learn the truth and the stories remembered about my history and adoptive family. I appreciate you reading this letter and giving consideration to my request. Sincerely, Veronica Hart 1116 East 4th Ellensburg , Washington 98926 Tele. 509-925-4737 E-mail: rhrh@elltel.net Notify Administrator about this message?
