John, I have a copy of "They Tried To Cut It All" by Ed VanSyckle but there is not a mention of the name you are seeking in the index. However, there are many references to Humptulips in the index and that would probably give you some help in your search. I'm a native of Grays Harbor but I now live near Seattle. Would be glad to help if there is something else you need.
