As for Elizabeth in the 1880 Census, my choice is your #3, that she was married to a son of Leander. Although we can't
really "trust" all the info in Census enumerations, Clara claims her father was b, in Wisconsin and that does match James (and Frank L.). I tend towards James because of age
of Elizabeth.

Looks like that you need some VR work for Clara to be certain.

Now, since you have Leander and know where he was at age 81
(b. March 1819), you "should" be able to find his D Cert. No
hint of Leander or Sarah in 1910 Census.
