In Reply to: Maude Mae Hatley- Columbia County by David Riddle of 56

I found a Riddle family in 1900 living in the Star Precinct of Columbia, County (Page 38). Head of the family was Henry W. Riddle, age 36, born Feb 1864 in Indiana, his father in Kentucky and his mother in Indiana. He was working as a day laborer. His wife was Maud (census spellings in all cases), age 27, born in Iowa to parents also born in Iowa. They had been married for six years and had three children all still living. The Children, all born in Washingon, included Viola, born July 1894; Mamie July 1896; and Charles April 1899.
Hope this helps. I am not in the line but recently found my great grandfather buried in Dayton City Cemetery thanks to the help of the Dayton City Library staff.
