Russell & Blanch Warren

DNA samples from skeletal remains recovered last Dec. 2004 were matched to Warren's niece. In a Nov. 2005 newspaper report, it was confirmed that the human bones found near the wreckage of a 1929 car accident in Lake Crescent belonged to Russell Warren. He and his wife Blanch were en route from Port Angeles to their Bogachiel logging camp when they disappeared in July 1929. Their car, which plunged off what is now Highway 101 near Meldrim Point, was found in April 2002 in more than 170 ft. of water.
I have no additional information about the couple.
