Hi Lori and Howard: I can't believe I had not seen these 2 messages until today in reponse to my query about Josiah Jordan's burial place. Many, many thanks to both of you for your information. Lori, I'd love to have your details, and especially your photo of Josiah. Please email me separately so I can download the photo, if you don't mind. Also, have you been able to determine the parentage of Josiah? As many places as I have searched, including his military papers, I cannot determine his parentage. I assumed it was Samuel Jordan and Grace Keny but Samuel died at Crown Point in 1756 and Josiah wasn't born until 1760, so that doesn't work. It is a real mystery to me and I keep searching for this answer. I am related to Josiah through John Jordan, b. Milton about 1650 and through John's son, Jonathan. His grandson moved to Nova Scotia with many other New England "Planters" in 1759/60 and we've been here ever since! Any info you have on this family, would be appreciated. Many thanks again, Sandra Atwell-Tennyson Notify Administrator about this message?
