I have an Earl Ward who was the father of William Edwards Ward (b. June 3, 1829 in Duxbury, d. December 31, 1904 in Waitsfield) who married a great-great-great aunt, Mary E. Marble.

Earl Ward's wife was Elizabeth Munson. They also had children Emily Elizabeth, Dency (Dolly) Louisa, Earl Johnson, Chester Wright, and Hiram Owen. This is the family living in Duxbury in 1850.

There is a WorldConnect tree that has this Earl Ward listed as a son of _Hezekiah_ Ward and Jemima Johnson. Hezekiah's third wife was... according to this tree... Elizabeth Eastman.
