Hi Michel,
On page 13
"Peleg SPRAGUE was one of the signers of the charter of Duncansborough, VT (now Newport, VT which borders Quebec) on October 26, 1781."

On page 23
"On the northwest corner of Main Street and Lane Ave. stood Mr. Ashley GOULD's store; in the second story of which lived E.W. SPRAGUE and family, who had a harness shop in the front room on Main St. Peter PORTER was learning the trade of Mr. SPRAGUE at that time, and boarded with his family; afterwards he became his successor in the harness business."
