I didn't know about Squire Gove side. The 'Widow' was Martha Lucinda Billings as per her marriage record, rather than Lucina. Also in the little story they moved up to the farm in 1859 by which time he had already left so it must have been 1839. It is believed he left Martha in 1855, Lewis Israel would by then have been about two. It is thought that Martha actually became a widow some time after 1873 when it is assumed Alonzo died.
