Thanks so much. The census on two occasions and death certificate say Hiram was from Vermont.Now there is a King family early settlers in Dundas, Saltfleet, Ontario Obidiah King with large family. One of the male family members was born same approx. date and was married to a Hannah but name given was Hugh King. Loyalist Consession 3 lot 1 100 acres bought from Petit. Maybe that is where I need to focus.
Thanks for your help really appreciate any thing you can find on King in Vermont. Maybe Obidiah King in Vermont 1770's.
