MAJORS, GEORGE, JR., Fairfax. Volunteered to go to Plattsburgh, [NY],
September, 1814, and served 8 days in Capt. Josiah Grout's Company.
Ref: Book 51, AGO Page 103.
STATE OF VERMONT ROSTER OF SOLDIERS IN THE WAR OF 1812-14, prepared and published under the direction of Herbert T. Johnson, The Adjutant General, 1933, page 279.
He was not my ancestor; I do not have any genealogy data for he or his family.
