Hi,
My understanding is Charlotte was born in Conn. William Gibson was born in Vermont. On their headstones at the Mt. Hope Cem. West Valley NY it shows Charlotte was born March 7, 1795, and died Feb. 26, 1870, William was born Sept. 21, 1792 and died July 21, 1873. Their children were Anna E. Gibson born 1817 Ontario,(NY?) John Gibson b. April 1823 ?, Juliette Gibson b. unknown (may have been the 1st school teacher in Ashford NY), Garry Gibson b. 1828 Darien NY, Peter T. Gibson b. 1832 Attica NY,Lavilla (Lovella) Gibson b. unknown.
Peter T. Gibson married Loraine Ballard and lived in Mt. Vernon S. Dakota, sons Archie and Chauncy (Chancy)
Garry C.Gibson married Abigail J. Curtis and moved around a lot in NY but settled for the majority of his life in West Valley NY no sons, Daughter Louisa (prev. marriage of Abigail) and Ada B.
John Gibson may have been born in 1823, may have lived in Minnesota and married to Margaret have not confirmed this.
Children could have been Willie and Viola.
Lovilla was married to Elsbree Smith
Anna never married
William and Charlotte had another child but do not know his or her name, when or where he or she was born. According to the Cattauraugus Gazetteer they had 6 living of 7.
